Lithium power station: Mobile battery including charging technology and inverter

The Delta Mini power station brings lithium technology to the boat without the need for costly conversion of the on-board electrical system. The 882 watt-hour Powerstation is the smallest in the Delta series from American manufacturer Ecoflow. With two 1400 watt outputs (pure sine wave), it can be used to power a drill or coffee machine - and it can be used on the move without any additional inverter or shore power. Various USB and 12-volt outputs are also available. We tested the device with a standard electric hotplate and a drill as well as a laptop power supply - everything worked.
The Powerstation can be charged via 230 volts, 12 volts or via solar panels. The latter can take several hours depending on the amount of sunlight. If charged via shore power, the battery is fully charged again after just over an hour and a half. If you want to be self-sufficient for as long as possible when travelling, you should ideally try to connect devices during the day when the sun can recharge them straight away. The control and monitoring via app is practical: in addition to the display on the device, it shows how many watts are currently being fed in or drawn.
The Delta Mini weighs 10.7 kilograms, measures 38 x 18 x 24 centimetres and is therefore also suitable for use on smaller boats. It received a very good rating of five stars in a trial in YACHT 6/2022. Price: 1099 euros.
