Sailors often swap roles at the anchorage. If the dinghy is to go ashore, this is usually done with a loud roar. Nobody will deny that it is much nicer under sail. Our comparison test of six small sailing boats that replace the dinghy and can be easily stowed on board shows that it is also possible with reasonable effort.

Whether inflatable boats with a rig, demountable rigid hull boats or the foldable banana boat, the market has various solutions for all those who prefer to move their dinghy under sail. We will introduce you to various models.
