Dometic is launching a new cooler series called CFX3 *. The compressor boxes are available in six sizes with capacities ranging from 32 to 88 litres. The coolers are protected by a robust plastic housing, and the desired temperature and operating status can be viewed and adjusted on a control panel with a TFT display. If that's not enough, the boxes can also be controlled via smartphone using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. In addition to the temperature, the power consumption can also be monitored.
The compressor is designed to work particularly efficiently and can be operated with direct current from the 12 or 24-volt vehicle electrical system as well as with shore power between 110 and 230 volts. According to the manufacturer, the smallest model requires just under one ampere hour per hour at an ambient temperature of 32 degrees Celsius to keep the contents at 4 degrees Celsius.
