WITH YOUR OWN HANDS
The journey is the goal of the boat building course, in which participants build their own boat under supervision, for example at the boat building school in Peenemünde. Dinghies and optis are on the programme, but above all kayaks made of plywood. A course lasts one to two weeks and costs from 1500 euros. If this is too much for you, you can also contribute to part of the course fees with a voucher.

SIMPLY SHARP
The table knives from the Swiss manufacturer Sknife impress with their unusual design and high quality: the blade is forged from surgical steel and the handle is made from walnut or ash wood. Logos or names can be engraved on the blades - what could be a better gift for connoisseurs than cutlery with their own ship's name? A set of four knives in a box costs 880 euros.

DOOR TOWER
It is one of the most famous German lighthouses: Roter Sand. Also known as Advent calendar the maritime landmark looks good. Instead of the lighthouse staff, Father Christmas docks at the base to climb the tower. There is a device on the back for hanging it up. Behind the windows, however, there are only maritime pictures, no chocolate. The calendar costs 11 euros.
