Teleworking is becoming increasingly popular and is even to be regulated by law. So why not set up an office on board? We show you how

Thanks to modern technology, the workplace often no longer has to be located in the company; more and more people are working from home. The right to a "home office" is now even to be regulated by law. So the idea of moving the office to an even better location - on a boat - is an obvious one.

In fact, teleworking works surprisingly well for many sailors - but the model is not suitable for all professions. On the other hand, it is even practised by bosses who run a company with a turnover in the millions. YACHT introduces these and other people from very different sectors who do their job from the boat and reports on their experiences.

A report in YACHT 6/2019 describes for whom the office on board is worthwhile, what opportunities it offers and what risks it harbours. The magazine is now available at newsagents, in the DK shop or directly here digitally!
