SY “Marlin” is a Bavaria 38-3 Exclusive, 3 cabin version. The yacht is privately owned, never chartered and is in a good shape. The yacht contains lots of space and well suited for safe and long family holidays. It sails well under sail and power. Due to its short keel, shallow inland waterways and coastal areas remain accessible.

 

All sails can be operated from the cockpit. Under the seats you find 2 cockpit lockers, big enough to stow a dinghy and/or a folding bike. The cockpit hosts the wheel steering, engine controls, compass, instruments (speed, wind, depth) and the autopilot including with below-deck drive. The swim platform provides easy access to the water by a boarding ladder and special shower.

 

Below, 2 huts can be found under the cockpit, these are each big enough to accommodate 2 2 adults and have their own cupboard spaces. At the portside we find the heads at the entrance and spacious galley, including cold- and hot water, 2 sinks, fridge, oven, etc. Starboard we see the chart table and the round seat. The interior can be heated by a Webasto diesel heater for the chilly days. The owners cabin is situated at the front of the Marlin and is well equipped with a double bed, enough cupboard space and private heads.

 

This Bavaria 38 has a CE-A certificate (open sea) provided by the Germanischer Lloyd, copy available.
